Bringing bb.q Chicken’s Flavor to Time Square: A Crispy and Juicy Experience
Bb.q Chicken, renowned for its dedication to the “Best of the Best Quality,” has elevated Korean fried chicken to new heights with its commitment to crispiness, juiciness, and tenderness. Since its inception in 1995 by Chairman Yoon Hong-guen in Seoul, South Korea, bb.q chicken has become a global sensation, with thousands of locations worldwide. This success is rooted in a passion for both Korean cuisine and innovation, exemplified by the establishment of Chicken University—a hub for advancing quality and flavor in their chicken offerings.
To celebrate and amplify their brand, Ottoman Robot was commissioned to create a series of three :15 second animated ads for an ad buy on the iconic Times Square building, where the New Year’s Eve ball drops. The creative direction focused on showcasing the promises of “crispy” and “juicy” as core elements of the brand’s identity.
The animations featured Chibboq, the charismatic mascot of bb.q Chicken, bringing to life the tantalizing textures and flavors of their renowned Korean fried chicken. Set against the dazzling backdrop of Times Square, the ads captured the essence of bb.q Chicken’s commitment to exceptional taste and cultural authenticity, engaging a global audience with a visually compelling and mouth-watering presentation.
